Short on Bike Parts? Use Park City Transportation (If Practicable).

Sometimes when you do not have the right bike parts to make your bike functional you will have to resort to Park City transportation to get you to where you want to go. There is certainly no shame in doing so. Bikes are mechanical objects with a lot of moving and grinding parts. It makes perfect sense that a bike will not remain functional in perpetuity. And when it’s functional life runs its course you will have to look to other modes of transportation to get you to where you want to be. If you happen to be in Park City and the place you want to get to is also in Park City then I just might have a solution that will work for you.

Come to think of it, who needs a bike anyway? Yes it is true that riding a bike gives a person much needed exercise (especially you people who are in their 40s and older). And yes it is also true that bike riding is an eco-friendly and economical activity. But sometimes a fellow just does not have the patience for all that. We all know that the Earth will some day be swallowed up by the sun so what is the point in being eco-friendly?

We also know that we cannot take our wealth with us after we die and there is no escaping the fact that all flesh and blood readers of this blog will surely one day cease functioning (similar to their bikes). So when you think about it, what is the point of preserving wealth by pinching pennies? We here at the Direct Bicycle Parts Blog are firm believers in living life to the fullest because for all we know this is the only life that we will ever have.

Forget Your Bike and Use Park City Taxi (When Appropriate)

Sometimes it becomes necessary to put aside the bike and call a Park City taxi to take you where you need to go. This is especially true when you are lacking the specific bike park you need to make your bike functional. But there are other situations when a taxi is a more appropriate form of transportation than would be a bicycle. For example if there are gale force winds and driving rain, probably a taxi would be a better form of transportation. Also, if there is a foot of snow on the ground (even if the roads have been plowed) I would still opt for a taxi over riding my bike and so should you (gentle reader).

There are many advantages as to making use of a taxi as opposed to making use of a bike to get you from where you are to where you want to be. The first and most obvious advantage is that taking a taxi requires significantly less effort than does riding a bike. Now some people opt to use a bike specifically because it does require effort. This is sometimes referred to as physical exercise and physical exercise has been shown to promote positive physical and mental health effects.

The second and not quite so obvious advantage of making use of a taxi over a bicycle as a mode of transportation is that it is a potentially safer mode of transportation. Now we all know that riding in a motor vehicle is not the safest mode of transportation. This is evidenced by the many injuries and deaths that occur on the highways every day. However, when the weather is bad a riding in a car can prove to be safer than riding a bicycle.
